Blatchly & Simonson About Us… Blatchly & Simonson is a general practice law firm with an emphasis on litigation. We are located in New Paltz, New York, in Ulster County and close to the county seats in Orange and Dutchess Counties. New Paltz is a moderate size college town with about 10,000 permanent residents in addition to a college population of about 8,000. We handle a wide variety of legal matters in the State and Federal Court system throughout the mid-Hudson Valley. The origins of Blatchly & Simonson date back to 1977, and our two partners have practiced together since 1992. Both partners maintain active litigation practices with concentrations in family law, personal injury, civil litigation, real estate and estate planning matters. We take great pride in being here to serve all of your legal needs. Our philosophy remains true to the goals set by the partners years ago, which are to provide a broad range of high quality legal services efficiently and at affordable rates.
